Re: Velvetday's Collection

Great selection of models !!!
I wish that I can hold the Ryanair 737WL in my Hands. Also the Swiss and AUA MD's are in my opinion some nice beauty's. The Sky500 Brussels Airlines Looks also very stunning.

Look Forward to your next update mate!

Re: Velvetday's Collection

Today I have taken some pictures of my recently purchased Models (JC Wings+1 Herpa)

First we have the Singapore Airlines A380 (50 years independence special livery). A really wonderful model, just the front gear looks a bit odd compared to Herpa.

I wanted a A380 from Emirates in my fleet just some months ago. But those are really rare. I was happy to see that Herpa will release 514521-003 soon. But as they haven't until now and I am not a fan of the Cricket livery one, I managed to find 514521-002 for a good price. So here it is:

Last but not least the really wonderful ANA 777-300ER Inspiration of Japan from JC Wings (love the details on the plane):

I am not sure. I just wanted one Emirates A380 for the moment. But you never know, maybe I will head for the A6-EOE as well

Re: Velvetday's Collection

Hi guys,

as I have completed my F-Toys JAL 5 Collection I would like to present them to you. Of course it in another "league" than the Herpa models, but I somehow like those Japanese plastic models as well.. They look good even if the moulds are not the nicest...

So here are some pics, sorry as I didn't have the time for a nice setup today...

Why does the DC 3 have a Philippine flag on it ? Was it on lease from PAL after the war ?

Re: Velvetday's Collection

Very nice! Lovely F-Toys models
I think they look nice, even if made using plastic.
The 737-400 looks great. The DC-8 is wonderful. The 767 looks kinda bad
The 747 looks nice, the JT9D engines look great. And the MD-90 is really cool! I think i'll order the JAL MD-90 and use it for custom projects, who knows...

Did your JAL MD-90 come with gears?

Thanks! Also for sharing your thoughts, appreciated Yes, the JAL MD-90 came with gears, didn't apply it in this case (a bit fiddly to attach the landing gears...) I have the JAS MD90 on sale if you are interested... (see sales section).

Re: Velvetday's Collection

So after some new arrivals again, it is time for another update on my collection. I have now 95 1:500 models on display (and 3 1:400 models), some OG models are not displayed and I don't have any space left Hope you enjoy the pics (sorry, some are a bit noisy) and I am looking forward to your comments and appreciation.
