Re: Velvetday's Collection

So many beautiful models in your collection, well done. Great catch the two Ryanair's B737, especially the -800WL is really hard to find. The B747-400 is beautiful but the Transavia B737-800WL has a particular place in my heart, the same for the Sabena DC-10 (nice mould).

Thanks for the nice words Charter, appreciated! Yes, agreed, we need more of this nice DC-10 mould!

Re: Velvetday's Collection

Niki, beautiful airline of the great Niki Lauda! Too sad Herpa did not realize the A319, a model that the airline used for few time.
About your country, Austria, i am really disappointed Herpa deleted the Lauda B737-800WL NG and i am even more disappointed that the Austrian Airlines A319, A321, B737-700WL and B737-800WL were never realized! In my opinion Austrian Airlines has (had) one of the most beautiful liveries of the sky.

Agreed, the (old) Niki livery is really great, though as it belongs to Air Berlin, most of the liveries on their planes changed to the simple red/white of the parent company... Also the livery of the older Lauda Air, is just spectacular, really a nice eye catcher. Have some OG 767 and 777 of it. Too bad it was integrated to Austrian Airlines.
But also I am really looking forward to the new Austrian A321 and hopefully there will also be a new model of the 767 realized...

For me the B737-700WL (particularly) and the B737-800WL Austrian Airlines livery were two of the most beautiful airplanes of the sky!

The "myAustrian"-A321 is said to be shipped in May.
As for Lauda Air: those planes had a beautiful livery! (There is also a Lauda CRJ as far as I remember ). I also like the silver FlyNiki livery.

I wish there were more "vintage" Austrian models (like the A310) - meaning NG models, not the old "big wheels" OG models...

Thank you! I think the Herpa A320WL is great. I really like the model. It is a beauty to my eyes. But I am not so much concerned about moulds in general. Overall look and details are good in my opinion, as is the livery (not grey wings as on the A330).
