Starjets website
I sure some of you have noticed that the Starjets website has been down for over a week. Perhaps this is something to do with:
- the standard of service of the website being brought into line with that given to club members; or - perhaps they are going to launch a new and improved site. Does anyone have any information? It is a bit worrying that the site has been down for so long. |

No info on it, but I can safely say I don't miss it since there was never anything new there anyway. I'm sure it will return eventually; maybe after they hire a part-time web-master.

Starjets really need to get their act together. Some of SJs planes seem to be in the shops before they are on the website.

Yes, HWs site is good. Dragon Wings' site has to be the worst.

Rule #1 of web sites: Never let your customers see you with your pants, er, website down...
Rule #2 of web sites: If your pants, er website will be down, at least cover it up with a "We are changing" message instead of some generic server message.... tsk tsk tsk.. i've spent many years developing websites, some companies never learn... *sigh* -FD |

I'm glad to hear it's Starjets site that is down and not my computer acting flakey!
Hopefully they do come out with a better site because closing down their dicussion forum "unitl they release a club model" was a pretty lame excuse not to keep it open! By the way, anybody have any idea when the new club model will come out or what the new model will be??? |
