Question Err, Cargo doors?

I just got my 503525 Martinair "40 years in air" and I notice it have a big cargo door printed on the fuselage - front part. Air Namibia B747-400 (512114) also have the some thing, a big cargo door on fuselage near the tail. Is this normal?

Yes, if they have cargo doors and passenger windows...they are called "Combi's" as it would be a combination of both and if they don't have windows they are simply just Cargo verions.

I want the swinging nose door on 744's. That would be nice. And if it opened...

The two Martinair MD-11s were exclusive releases.

AV8TOR,

There is 2 release? Correct me if I'm wrong, one with "40 years in the air" (503525) and another is normal version, same as the pictures (503495). How can I get the normal version?

Yes, there were 2 releases of the Martinair MD-11, both exclusives.

1. 503495 McDonnell MD-11C Martinair PH-MCT
2. 503525 McDonnell MD-11C Martinair '40 years in the air' PH-MCR

Try listing your wants in the Trade forum and perhaps someone will come forward and sell you theirs

They were 'specially made/released' for LHS, so they had a rather large stock of them (probably still do). When I'd order from them, I'd grab 2 or 3 pair and use them for trades.
