I purchased 3 things from ebay and sent the cash out all at one go via registered letter. Got reply from the other two, one from US and another from Canada. Last Monday, I received the merchandise fron the other two trades but not from dear Mr Paul. Emailed him from two weeks ago asking whether did he received the cash and no reply till today. Checked with the postal department, they said the letter received by dear Mr Paul. So, what would you do?

The question is how long has it been since he has recieved the money. How is his feedback? Did the post office lose it? and the list goes on and on. Without a more detailed description of the incident on everything there isn't much that can happen here.

I made a deal with Paul in May by exchanging our airplane model.

His response is fast and sincere.

As you have used eBay, why not contact them by using their live chat thing, where you can talk to an eBay employee, and they will help you. Another tip, I have found it is very important to read the feedback on people to see that they have a good rating before doing a deal with them. Hope that helps, JAUK....

Hi Freinds, and especially Airport_648,
I am Paul and is the one Airport_648 is dealing with.
First of all, Airport_648, your registered letter from Malaysia arrived at my address late afternoon last Thursday 20 June !! I started to package the model and is ready to mail it out to you today !! You must remember, we are half a world apart, and it takes TIME for mailing back and forth !!!
The ebay auction was finished on 04 June, and according to your email dated 10 June that you mailed out the money and in your own word takes 10-14 days to reach me, so I received it on 25 June, and it is still within the acceptable time frame !!! So what is the problem ????
I have been selling and buying on ebay for over four years, and it is not unusual for deals to take 30 or even 60 days to complete. Airport_648 you are new to ebay (with only 8 positive number compare to my 99 !!), and you must understand how dealing are processed. ebay itself put in a 90 days completion time frame has good reasons behind it.
You jump the gun too fast, and worse of all bad mouthing me on this forum. You didn't even send me another email asking if I have received the money and if the model was mailed. I am not a time machine and can beam you the model just like Zip !!!
To play safe just in case you come back to this forum and accuse me of not mailing the model to you, I will ship it out to you by registered mail, and I will pay the extra cost.
Airport_648 you owns me an apology !! and must do a retrack on this forum. My advice to you is have good patience, and learn not to bad mouth people on a public forum without good solid ground to stand on. To be sure I will not deal or trade with you again.

For the rest of you my friends reading this message, let me re-asure you that I will always, repeat always honour my deals. I am more than happy to trade, buy or sell with you all in an honourable fashion.
I hope this would clear up this unfortunate mess. have a good day.

Hmmmm another one of those impatient eBayers from the way this looks. I still wonder why people can't figure this out and be patient especially for international things. If it's been more then a month after they shipped it then there is something to worry about. People these days.........

And so on and so on!!!!!

Be assured that Paul Chu aka Kingflight is one of the most honourable ebayers I know. Why is it that people persist
in putting their feet in their mouth before speaking?
I, as a store owner and regular ebayer know and can verify that international mail can sometimes take forever, local mail as well for that matter. Airport_648? Did you ask your postal service why your letter took so long? Did they tell you that registered mail is one of the slowest means of sending mail due to the package/letter recording that has to be done? You can trace registered mail and verify when the letter was delivered, did you do that? I just wish that people would think before speaking, here you have tried to damage the reputation of an individual who has traded with many of the WINGS900 members and who submits all kinds of useful info to this and other forums, without doing your homework and finding out if he is or is not a risk. The good thing here is that the majority of the members at WINGS900 are smarter than you think and are mature enough to see through your senseless attacks. I think the best thing you could do now is show your maturity and deliver on that apology.

Regards

Mike
