Guys,
Please NOTE that on the same day I posted out THREE bids I secured on ebay and they RESPONDED and I GOT their MERCHANDISE last week. The best thing is ONE is from CANADA which is the same place as DEAR MR PAUL. On top of it is I emailed MR PAUL numerous of times and he NEVER RESPOND to those emails. IF and I say IF, he RESPONDED then NONE of this would have happenned. Once I POSTED this topic on Wings900, our DEAR MR PAUL responded. You can blame me on lack of patience but the circumstance is ONE, other two bids responded, our DEAR MR PAUL didn't respond until I post to Wings900 despite numorous emails showered to him, TWO, I mailed the 3 letters out, 2 in CANADA which MR PAUL is and the other is in US. I have received the merchandise from the other two except DEAR MR PAUL. I showered him with emails as usual NO RESPONCE and THREE, being with good intention wanting to warn others of the rampant fraud trades, I decided to post it in Wings900. The BEST thig is DEAR MR PAUL CHU RESPONDED. Why can't he just send me an email telling me everything is OK. Since he is a SENIOR with vast experience, he SHOULD have RESPONDED instead PUTTING PEOPLE IN THE DARK. If he have responded tehn PEOLPE LIKE ME, THE INEXPERIENCE GUYS would not do what which had been done. The COMMOTION today would NOT BORN yeaterday. To the WONDERFUL PEOPLE of Wings900, I appologise for the COMMOTION created. To the SENIORS, please a small word from you all means a lot to us. Don't take things for granted just because you are SENOIRS. Guide us, FOR THE GOOD OF THE COLLECTION WORLD. |

To Airport_648,
SHOWERED ME WITH EMAILS ???????!!!! I agree IF I had received your so-called emails asking what happened, all these posting would not happened, BUT THERE WERE NO EMAILS !!! I have checked with my internet supplier Group Telecom, and they can't trace any records from you after our initial communication about exchanging address and payment amount. You just can't accuse people with a dealing process less of than 30 days !!!! Circumstance warrents you not to make haste judgement and what happened with the other two may not necessary be the same with the third or the fouth or the fifth !!. I have many ebay deals with people for example in the USA just south of Canada, and they can finish in from less than 7 days to over 60 days !! I have experience of a letter that took 20 days to New York !! and it wasn't registered ! and another that reach Dallas in 5 days. It sounded that you have done a great job by posting here, and I would response ONLY by you transhing my honour !! What a immature way of thinking. Why don't you sit down and consider this word - PATIENT !! You will be a much much better 'Senior'in the years ahead if you have patient and timing judement. |

Its pretty important to promptly respond to emails with each other on a auction. Miscommunication would make anybody frustrated!
Its also important to be patient. Getting a package faster from one person than another doesn't mean anything. Lastly, when the seller receives a email from the buyer that the payment has been sent, its a good habit to pack everything so one can send it off right away when it arrives. Just some personal stuff I practice when I do monetary/valuable transaction. ![]()

Yes it is VERY important to reply to each others e-mails. I'm currently dealing with someone I've dealed before but start to doubt wether I'll get my model or not.
I've bought this model about 18 days ago with the buy it now option on e-bay. As I dealt with him before I've promptly payed the model with paypal. I've send him an e-mail but never got any reply apart from the ones that are automaticcaly sended by e-bay. Meanwhile the money has gone from my account and still no model, something I have no problems with as it is only 18 days ago, but worse not one personal e-mail from the seller. The seller is very respected and has very very much positive feedbacks. What to do now?

Wooji, remember, sometimes people get into circumstances where they can't email or something, such as a family emergency, medical problem, etc.
Also there are email problems. I, for instance, have a hotmail account and for those of you guys who use them know that junk mail can get extremely common and annoying, therefore I have a list of filters that I use. Sometimes regular emails "can" get rejected due to my filters and whatnot, but since I use my hotmail account carefully, I doubt I'll run into problems, but my point is becareful with filters. Avoid using junk-mail-words in your subject/name/email addy such as "congratulations", "university diploma", "bad credit", you get the point... Good luck!

Just one reply about the status of the already payed models is what I would like to see now. I've sended him already 3 reminders, one each week. Meanwhile he keeps sending his usual e-mails with offers, wich go (I guess) automaticcaly to all people he dealt with before (including me).
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for another week, if I still haven't seen a reply I will contact e-bay. Please note that I did not (yet) mention his name, this to avoid giving the seller a negative reputation on wings900 in case all this happened beyond his own will.

Hi Wooji and Friends,
Just give him more time. 20 days on ebay is nothing ! Belive me, I deal with a lot of different people, and a number of those with over 100 positive numbers don't response as fast as you may think. May be they have too many to sell, and can't really keep up with it !! Ha ! Ha ! I have learned from experience, and from other ebayers, that we must give at least 30 days for any transaction. Over that, then send the guy a friendly reminder about telling ebay to recall commission. Money usually get his attention quicker !! For 45 days, then give him a warning about bad feedback, and over 65 days - NAIL HIM on feedback on ebay. Usually people will response if you remind them about putting bad feedback. Important thing is not to let him drag on after 65 days, because ebay only keep the record for 90 days as well as the feedback too. I hope you can get your model soon. As my case with Airport_648, we will settle the issue between us in private. I am looking forward to a good conclusion and work with him from now on as good friends. I am sure he is willing too. Thank you for the kind words and concerns from all of you. |

Thanks for the information Kingflight. Altough I find it a bit lazy of my seller not to send an e-mail to me. Especially if he does lot of bussines like this. I'll keep this issue up to date on this forum as a reference for others.

Hi everyone,
Again my APPOLOGY for creating this commotion. KingFlight and I have ironed out the problem and we are off to a very good start now onwards. He has been a gentleman explaning and advising me on what are the thing to do, etc., etc. & etc.. If you ask me now, do I trade with him? The answer is YES. I have been doing some thinking on what happened here. This problem will go on and on. It will happen to someone somewhere in time. Why don't the seniors of Wings900 come out with a code of ethics for this internet trading. It will standardise the trading done and as a members of Wings900, we follow. Everyone benifits from it. The seniors doesn't have to go through the agony of trading with new commers. The juniors have a clear guidelines on how to trade in internet rather going through it by yourself and slowly gain experience. Well, good ones are OK but bad ones like this one is a NIGHTMARE. So, what say you all. |
