Question Excessively priced...perhaps?

After thinking about it again...another good reason why I didn't mind getting the BB JDEs, is they are still a lot cheaper than that of Herpa's JDEs. And although they don't come with a license, at least I know I could get all of them and perhaps more. Also, we all know that BB will produce the ones that got away from Herpa; namely: JDE Sea's!

I had only two of the JAL JDEs from Herpa but ended up selling them both because I didn't feel like chasing down a bunch of scalpers to complete the set

I've got herpa 'white and pink' (45usd ea) and the BB 'blue' (58usd). Am waiting for the price of 'yellow' to drop or get the BB version together with the 'Sea'.

Hurry up BB....

Yep, I have 2 x blue, 2 x Pink and 2 x White. I will get all the others and about a year later I will sell them as two sets and make at least 200% profit !!

I'm paying HK$ 330 for them now and they are already past the 500 - 600 mark for the blue one !

I understand your view.

In the past I had about 500 herpa models, then I switched to SJ and GJ. Living in Hong Kong with a flat the size of most of your bedrooms I ran out of space and sold all of the herpa models.

Now I have the same problem with the models I still have. For that reason I only buy what I like these days.

Selling models makes a lot of money and thats why I'm buying these BB models, not because I like them but to make some money in the future. It's just some extra income for me.

After collecting models for 10 years I've lost the interest and have now started with 1:76 scale buses

More of my interest is now with real aircraft, spotting in Hong Kong and taking pictures.

i hope that you will sell it on ebay only, i don't think wings900 member will buy them with $$$$ from another wings900 member.
i mean members of wings900 should be an alliance. earning so much money from your ally, it's not an ethical things.

sorry for my poor english
also apologize to everyone if i say sth offending.

but i wish you guys know that ijust wanna express my feeling.

I have to agree with Watt here. I too have bought models when I found a great deal on them and sold them at a later date and made a couple dollars in the process. Some of the times I use the models for extra spending cash and sell one here and there. I know many people who have and it's not just only him. Everyone has their own thing to do and it would be stupid for someone for example to sell a jet-x Braniff Real Metal for 50 dollars....
