If someone thinks buying a BB's a waste of money then isn't collecting these diecast planes in general, a waste of money? If BB released a plane that I have a nostalgic attachment to, or something that's really, really, really cool (if its just one "really" cool plane, its not worth $35US+) or a plane that's extremely beautiful or whatever, then I'd say most people would feel that its worth the value. Right? When you start collecting all, or most of the BBs, then I think you've got a problem! Instead of buying the next BB, buy yourself some time with a shrink.
  BTW, AA928, I was informing Mr. Butterscotch of airliners.net, since he asked for the 1:1 JAL B743 O/C picture several times. Didn't mean to offend anyone.  Cheers.

Adrian is right they are in his view a waste of money. Why pay 45 dollar for a model? Even though I have 2 BigBirds I am NOT a surpporter of them because charging obscure prices for models that we want. So now that we get all the models we want what is there to look foward to?

Everyone has a price limit; I'd pay $35 for a discontinued old Herpa, but not for a newly released BB. I generally don't even like paying $35 for special releases and have passed on lots of 'special' stuff that has 'special' prices.

I buy BB for one reason...... TO SELL LATER !!
JAL Disney HK$ 330 JAL o/c HK$ 170 The blue JAL can already sell for HK$ 600 plus !!
