How Often do you Fly? And where?

(A lot of people have been posting some interesting and neat questions so I thought I should give it a try.) (oops! I accidently posted this in the 1:500 form. Can you move it to "General" Flight Director)

How often do you fly? And where?

Haven't been near a full-sized plane since 1987! Always on vacation.

With my most recent job there is a remote chance I may be able to fly to Buffalo or to some destination on Long Island - nothing particularly exciting. And all this "security" around airports nowadays is very saddening and a true abridgement of our freedom.

I am on a plane at least twice a month on business. I travel mainly within North America but I have been several times to Europe on business as well.

For Vacation I have been all over the world and flown on almost every plane currently flying from CRJ to 747-400!

I am only 16 and a student so I do n ot travel during the school year much. This year for example in summer:
SFO-JFK-ZRH-JFK-SFO
SFO-LAS-SFO

this winter:
SFO-FRA-BSL-FRA-SFO

this is a little more than normal. Usually the second flight to europe is replaced with a domestic one. This year I have a job in Switz. in summer and am visiting family for x-mass.

Cool

I fly about once a month within New Zealand and about twice a year to Australia on business. My wife and I fly to Australia at least once a year for a holiday, sometimes twice.
For holidays I have been to Fiji once, Hong Kong twice, Japan twice,Sweden once, the UK twice,China four times,Macau twice and France once. We are booked on Qantas in September (Friday the 13th) for a holiday in Australia,England,Ireland,France,Belgium,Luxemberg ,Germany,Austria,Switzerland and Italy. Staying in a villa in Tusconey for a week then down to Rome for 4 days before flying back to New Zealand via London for a night and then onto Auckland via LA.
When we were in France in 1997 we visited the grave of my great uncle who was killed on March 8th 1918 on the Somme. We made a promise that we would return and that is why we are going to France. The people of France really look after the fallen soldiers graves from both sides and it really moved us when we were there last time. My best friend and his wife, who came with us last time, have a great uncle also who was killed at Ypres. We didn't know where he was buried last time but we do now. So we are going to visit his grave as well. We also want to spend a couple of days in Belgium and Northern France looking over the old battlefields of WW1.
We Kiwis don't mind flying because we are so far away from anywhere. I don't mind jumping on a plane in New Zealand and flying direct to London.
Regards
John
