RE: Herpa order numbering system

So, what is the system?

Do the New Generation models begin with a certain
number? What about models marked "000000"? What was the earliest number?

I just purchased two Herpas (so I gather) with the odd numbers "742CX" and "7474CX"? They were pretty pricey, so I guess I might have gotten some somewhat rare models. Then again, maybe I got screwed.

How much can be gleaned from this order number system?

Thanks.

I think that the 000000 numbers means its just not listed in their numbering system. I believe all regular Herpa models have 5XXXXX as their numbers.

Hi, when they have all 0's, this is because the model is not in their regular releases, and is a special model for an airline. These models usually don't have a belly logo. Thanks, JAUK....
