Well, here it is. I've got it Friday and I think it's well done. I hope that there will be a lot of Connies in different liveries

Wow! Looks like Herpa did a great job on this model! Unfortunately, I think I've got way too many Lufthansa models in my collection right now. I'll wait for more liveries of this suberb model!!! Dare I hope for an Air India model of this plane?

Now that is nice, I can't wait for mine to arrive. I just hope there will be a lot more liveries coming.
Will we see a Qantas version? Regards John |

yeah top model. i will get one even though it is LH. i remember
D-ALAP being parked outside the terminal at FRA around 1990. it would be great if more connies came out but maybe it will be like the DC3 with hardly any releases. i saw a Aerochargos and a AMSA connie in Miami.they would be nice releases. |

The Constellation is one of the most beautifull planes ever made! Have one at home scale 1/48, KLM, love it!

Re: LH L1649 from Herpa
![]() In the words of Nick Love LAFS Love at first sight This will go well with my other Starliner (1:300 TWA by Solido, France) The only three original operators of the Starliner were Air France, Lufthansa and TWA. No other major carrier operated the type, but some examples of smaller lines that acquired second-hand examples were: Luxair, Trek, Trans Atlantica Argentina and Alaska. I was lucky enough to see the real thing at Stewart Airport, Newburgh, NY over 20 years ago. Last edited by PropJet188; 05-24-2002 at 09:59 PM. |
