I noticed files #'s 1000996 and 1001801, having to do with
Air Force One (Herpa 502511). Both files indicated that
the registration number is 82-8000; but the registration
on my edition of this model is 28000. Also, my box for this is a B4, I am quite sure, as it indicates the scale. The files say it is supposed to be a B3. Should I start getting excited that I may have a one of a kind, or is
something else going on here. Thanks.

As far as I know there are four versions of Air Force One made by Herpa until now in 1/500!

Take a look at http://www.vosen.de/wings_complete.htm and search for "number" = "502511":-)
