How do you think about the Herpa Qantas Plain B-747-400? Does it look good? Can someone give me some advice?

If you like the livery, go for it. Of course I prefer to see it in NG.

But when do you think the NG will be released?
And do you know will the NG models get damage easily, because the wheels look as they will break easily, because the plastic stand of my desk lamp had just broken, and collapesd... |

Indeed the landing gear of the NG is very fragile and many collectors complain about that, but it is far better than any other 747 gear out there, that's for sure. I see in a plane realism not sturdyness so if I were you i'd wait for the NG, which will come out eventually. All 747 planes are in the process of being re-released as NG. Hopefully by the end of this year as Andreas Spector from germany told me.

I have bought already may NG models and had so far only one broken landinggear. Apparently many people had problems with the landinggear of the JAL 747 clubmodel, just like me. Perhaps it was made on a monday morning
![]() The Qantas is an all time classic for Herpa. It has always been in their collection, no doubt they will very soon announce the NG version.

When searching the Herpa database both Qantas 747-400 and Wunala are showing up as 'Item in Producton' in the stock status column, opposed to 'Item Availible'. Does this mean that the NG models are on the way??????
Thanks |
