Talking

For price alone it's SJ. Even if it was a C&C versus a BB, I'd take the C&C (if I wanted the livery bad enough... which I don't).

Most likely BB cause the price is only US$5 more plus there is no seam.

But what are the prices? I suppose they will be higher than normal liveries due to the many imprints.

I paid 18 dollars for my SJ A333 Royal Barge so I imagine the 744 price by SJ will be around the same. The Big Bird has been selling in the 35-40 dollar range.,

Are you saying that SJ is releasing the Royal Barge model of the 747 aswell?

Smile

I had the SJ version a year ago !!. I'm sick to the teeth of all the copying thats going on now.

Dragon copy Gemini
herpa copy SJ
BB copy SJ

Guess it means one thing, The Gemini/SJ gang must be number 1. People only copy a good thing !!

And what about people copying Herpa?

I realize since they've been around the longest out of the group, they have the historical edge, and everyone generally has to copy them at some time or another or they won't have the more popular liveries to sell (and compare against directly), but singly pointing out who is copying only Gemini and SJ is a bit short and one-sided on the copying issue.

Since DW made 1/400 models before GJ and Herpa made 1/500 models before SJ, and since these companies established a market and popularised their respective scales, I think it's a bit rich to accuse them of copying. I guess it's a lot easier to jump on a band wagon that somebody else has already got rolling!!!
