I hope these last 2 are a sick joke.

Agreed, I don't like the fact that Aero500 are capitalizing on those tragedies. They are trying to make money off those registrations...

Re: Aero500 breaking news

Those "new" registrations have obviously been made on a same production run than the first known release. They certainly cannot be referred as new releases.

Personnally I hope the planned DC-10 series will eventually be made but we are not in a position to decide this.

I mean, I do have a Fokker 70 of Austrian Airlines in my fleet and it felt somehow spooky when I found out that the plane with the registration (OE-LFO) crash landed near MUN - even if that event happened years later and there were just some major injuries. But still, it felt definitely not good.

But the registries of planes that were SHOT DOWN and WENT MISSING?!? That is simply disgusting!

I agree. Sometimes it is not so much that the airline registrations crashed. Some of these other model planes produced in the past may still have some historic significance for the airline that will overshadow the crash. But in the case of the two additional MH 777s, the choice of producing the two reg's was done in bad taste. The two crashes are very controversial and the families of the victims still have no closure. It is very painful for the families involved.

FYI, these two reg's went on sale some time back when 9M-MRA was released. I noticed there was only one ebay seller who had (and still have) them.

Re: Aero500 breaking news

Kinda pity for Aero500 to have dived under water once again.

Looking forward to hear about more new products from them.

Some DC-10s of cargo airlines would be awesome.

I've got a Sky500 Korean Air B747-200 HL7442...I knew the story behind before I bought this model, but still I don't feel very well every time I'm looking at it.

The story of ElAl Cargo 742 4X-AXG made by Bigbird is the same. I do not feel well looking at this model, either.
