These would sell like hotcakes and i'll give another suggestion:

a pack containing a few random GA aircraft, and another pack containing bizjets. We need this for our airports ASAP.

Re: 3D Printing

Give me some good GSE in selected kits (Stairs, buses, push-back tugs, Catering, Highloaders and beltloaders etc.) and I'd buy a ton of them!

I've suggested this a few times on here, I think it would be a good seller.

There could also be packs containing the smallest commuter and regional airliners like the Beech 1900, Swearingen Metro/Merlin etc.

Re: 3D Printing

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the continued responses. We are building the SAAB at the moment and once we have it print ready we can then start a discussion on the quality of the models, their strength etc. I am also looking at ways to use 3D Printing as stage 1 the process so we can then offer the planes in different materials currently not possible with 3D Printing. Please please keep the comments coming through while we are building and printing the SAAB so we can get a feel for what people want.

To address one particular post, I appreciate that 3D Printing has been waved in everyones face before and then disappeared. 3D Printing is all my company does and as I truly believe its the future of all manufacturing I am keen to develop it at its grass roots such as hobbyists and collectors so show people what is possible so I will be sticking around until asked to leave

That's good news.

I'm sure you will find that if you are able to offer us this opportunity to realise affordable models of aircraft that are not currently, or ever likely to be, available in 1:500 scale you will get plenty of business, not least from myself.

A small 'manufacturer' that listens to our wishes? All the bests!

Re: 3D Printing

Hi,
Thought people would like to see some early model images. Don't worry this is not the final model and its the outline of a shape at the moment. There are not alot of good blueprint references online so we are working off photographs too. Will upload more images as we tighten the model details down.

Re: 3D Printing

By the way if anyone feels we are missing a detail on any of our planes please please comment on the images I upload before we start making them as its easy to fix while still a virtual file. Sometimes we work off blueprints that are not 100% accurate so we welcome feedback.

Re: 3D Printing

I don“t know how the prototype will turn out, but judging from the rendering the cockpit window frames and the frames of the doors and the emergency exit may appear slightly too pronounced. (Maybe it`s just my impression...?)
