well Mohammed, since you need a BA B744 (and some say I'm kinda an expert on BA B744s), you should buy the new Herpa one...G-BYGF she's a beauty!

well my friends, another update after a long time...she landed in my fleet last evening and I must say, she is undoubtedly the QUEEN!!! British Airways B747-436 G-BYGF by Herpa...and she is beautiful!!! she is the first of 10 SpeedBird 744s on approach...3 in 1:400 scale and the rest in 1:500 scale (incl. this Queen)...should get all by October though! Kev and all other SpeedBird collectors here... this one is for you!!!

Thanks Thom...you're right...the "To Fly To Serve" sticker looks fantastic with the "Queens Golden Jubilee" sticker...can't wait to corronate the other 9 Queens!!! (i.e. G-BNLW, G-BNLY, G-CIVD, G-CIVK, G-CIVR, G-CIVS, G-BYGA, G-BYGC and G-BYGG)

well, I am in the process of making my SpeedBird Airport which includes SIX daily flights to JFK served by BA B744 and B777...I've shared the schedules on my airport thread!!!

Thanks my friend...Kev, I should be able to complete the set of all 57 BA B744s by this time next year...I'm expecting a few customs from Sergio which should land in October (earliest)....looking forward to seeing more SpeedBirds in your fleet as well!!!

How wonderful SpeedBird...enjoy the flight before BA phases out its B744s..what an experience it is....I'm flying one too for my short 1 week trip to and from Vancouver...I fly BA085 from Heathrow and BA084 on the return...I flew BA B744 twice this March/April when I went to Toronto...(G-BNLX - BOM-LHR and G-CIVD 'oneworld' YYZ-LHR)!!! enjoy your flight, SpeedBird...more new arrivals soon...including many BA B744s ofcourse!

finally an update my friends...while I was away in YVR, a couple of 1:500 scale Herpa models landed in my fleet...a third one landed (British Airways B744 G-BNLV) which I've already shared on my 1:400 scale thread!!! both belong to "STAR ALLIANCE"...
(1) Swiss International Airlines A330-300 HB-JHK and,
(2) Turkish Airlines A340-300 TC-JDM

Yes, Thom, it is very lovely...I absolutely love the Turkish Airways model...waiting for Herpa (or Phoenix) to release a Turkish Airlines A330-300!!!
