Just one question I've always wondered: why is this a sticky thread???

Just guessing here, but i I would say because it answers a few great questions that new users and collectors would have. It keeps them from starting a new thread over the same thing every year or so. Its also good for experienced collectors to refer back to. Just my guess.

For different reasons:
1) the Club models are forever, at least until Herpa will continue to exist and to produce models;
2) because many members and collectors very often ask about the Herpa Club models, so in this way it will be easier to find infos about them;
3) because i spent months to find all the Club models until Herpa started to produce them, so now we can have something updated and ready to be shared.

Altough I agree with you for the first two reasons, I don't think the last one is a very good reason

And why not? It's an extense research, which Alessandro did without getting a single coin for it. It's a very informative thread, I like seeing the releases from all years and I support the ''sticking'' of this thread.

Aeroholic is flying under the radar
Re: Herpa Wings Club models list.

Hello everyone ! I'm new to the blog and wanted to ask anyone who has the Herpa 1/500 space shuttle atlantis with the booster rocket set. Is it all metal? All plastic ? or both? I want to get it but i'm scared that it might be all plastic!

Thanks,
Aeroholic

Re: Herpa Wings Club models list.

Hello Aerohilic, wlelcome to the forum (not blog )

I don't know if the model is plastic but I would suggest you to ask your question on another thread (Herpa breaking news for example). You'll then have more chance to get an answer

skirk1983 is flying under the radar
Re: Herpa Wings Club models list.

About the club model from 2012 the Braathens SAFE 737-200, was it released or not? I mean if it was not released, why is it on the list?

Sorry if its a stupid question, but do not know anything about the club models.

Thanks

Skirk

Rands Cacic is flying under the radar
Re: Herpa Wings Club models list.

It was on the list along with all the others as possibilities. It was not made though as there were not enough votes for it.
