That BETA 707 looks amazing. I love the placement of the Brazilian flag on the a/c.

One of my biggest mistakes was selling that Channex to you. I did need the money at the time though.

Re: A thread for samples owners.

The Kenya Airways B737-700WL is a masterpiece, also if in the old livery; i have found the Air Scotland B757-200 (really wonderful!) on ebay, but the model was too much expensive.

Re: A thread for samples owners.

Unfortunately i have not samples. I have written a list of samples existing in 1:500 scale: it is not complete, but i have found these airplanes produced by Herpa.

A320: British Airways "Landor"; Kuwait Airways; Air Malta; Ansett Australia (old livery); Balkan; Gulf Air; Canada 3000; Austrian Airlines; British Mediterranean; Lan Chile (NG); America West (old livery, NG); US Airways (new livery, NG); America West (new livery, NG); Air Canada "Raptor".

A321: Dragonair (NG); Egyptair (old livery).

A340-300: Air Switzerland; China Southwest.

A330-200: Airtours (NG); Monarch (old livery, NG); Egyptair (old livery, NG).

MD-80: Iberia; Austrian Airlines.

Fokker 100: KLM (old livery).

Fokker 70: Vietnam Airlines (new livery).

B737-200: Saudia; Canadian; Air Guadeloupe (NG); Delta Express "Power Puff Girls" (NG); Metrojet; Air New Zealand; TAAG Angola.

B737-300: KLM; British Airways "Landor"; L'Aeropostale; Sobelair; Sun EXpress; Ansett Australia; ORBI Georgian Airlines; Air Holland; United (new livery, NG).

B737-700: Kenya Airways, Aloha Airlines (WL); Germania; Southwest "Nevada One"; Southwest "Mexico One"; LAPA; Westjet; Hamburg Chile.

Fokker 50: Air Andaman

B767-200: Delta; Ansett Australia; Balkan; China Airlines; TAMPA Cargo; Swiss World; ANA.

B757-200: Air Scotland; Air Inter; Transaero; Transavia; Air Belgium; Air 2000; British World Airlines; MyTravel.

B767-300: Spanair; Asiana; Air New Zealand; Transaero; UPS; Uzbekistan Airways; Aeris.

DC-10: KLM; VASP; CAC (F); Garuda; Transaero.

B747-200: Virgin Atlantic; World; Air Canada; Air France; Continental; Thai Sky Airlines.

A300: Channel Express; JAS; Saudia; Lufthansa Express; Libyan Arab Airlines; Malaysia Airlines; Bavaria Germanair; City Bird; Garuda; Heavy Lift Cargo; Iberia; Korean Air; FedEx; TNT.

I have searched for all the samples and i have written this list; i repeat that it is not complete, there are many other samples, but this is an entire collection! So many wonderful airplanes that Herpa has never produced...a real pity.

You lucky son of a gun. I've been searching high and low for those two for a reasonable price! I did find the 757 on eBay, but that cost $399 plus shipping!

I like Kenya Airways old livery better than their current one. Lots of rare great models, great thread, Charter.

Indeed it was. Back in 2007 BETA was such a great cargo airline, they had a (at the time) strong fleet of 5 or 6 DC-8 and also the 707, it was so good to see them flying. Too bad they ceased operations a few years later...
