From my understanding, this should have been that guys responsibility to do an inspection first before sending you the package. He should have stated the flaws or at least show pictures, so that you won't be hit up cold with a surprise like this.

Quite agree - if any model is faulty and faults are not created by the carrier, then it is the responsibility of the seller to ask for the model to be returned for a full refund or replacement model. I have had good experience with those Hong Kong sellers I have dealt with. Sometimes they ask for photos showing the damage, so they can see it for themselves. No problem as long as both parties are honest with eachother. If his listing doesn't say no returns accepted', then make a claim through E. Bay/Paypal and take photos of the evidence.

Even if it does say "no returns" you should file a complaint. I understand there was no indication of the quality of the model?

That A319 has been steadily going down and down, was £15, then 10, 8 and now 5. Might pick it up, although if the wings are like they are in the picture, maybe not.

The Herpa United Airlines B757-200 "Tulip" is a beautiful airplane, but 255 euro are too many also for me. It is a pity that the price is so high, 100 euro less and i would have bought the sample.
