In deed you are right. This is a brand new manufacturer from Croatia. Brand name is Seagull and manufacturer name is Lamar - abbreviation of Larus marinus which is a Latin name for Seagull. Production of the models is also in Croatia and their development took a year and a half (as of December 2010). Future range will be focused mostly on military combat aircraft in 1/500 and 1/400 scale since there are very little military models in this scales. For example in 1/500 scale military models are Hercules, Transall, C-17, AWACS, Lockheed Orion; and there are almost no combat aircraft (except XB-70 which is only a basic model with no landing gear and Boeing Airborne Laser which is only a 747 variation). Also some other models (non military) might get in production but only if there is no another manufacturer in this scale.
By the end of the year hopefully there will be some more releases in 1/400 and 1/500 scale.
I include a photo of these two models alongside some other 1/500 scale models for you to get the idea how they will look displayed as well as photo of models with their packaging boxes.

This is great news, I hope they can make a success of it, if so we're in for some very interesting releases.
Maybe a campaign to request a C-141 Starlifter and C-5 in 1:500 is in order!

@Ranger: I think it's better to wait and see for a while, and after one or two months of releases we ask.

thats was just impressive!cant wait for AC130,EC-8 JSTARS,KC135,B52,C5,and friends!
its good to have manufacture that were still made in EU(which is very rare now days)and hope their price also competitive compared to others

Really, any military model in 1:500 would really be nice. Especially American, and ofcourse Swedish (for obvious reasons). American military aircrafts are what I grow up with. So please some F-14, F-15s and I would really like some century jets... A F-105 would be nice...

Guys, I thought the guy said COMBAT aircraft. So, why are you expecting C-130s, C-5, etc etc????
Let's wait for F-15, F-16 or something. Fighter jets. But it would be very cool if they released a C-5. If they release only fighters, F-15/ F-16/ F/A-18E please
