Re: Wish list (how many time without!)

Hi there,

I like your wishes! But what do you mean with "official" and "unofficial"?

I would love to see a Malev 736 or Dash-8!

Hi friend, "official" is what, in my mind, Herpa will release because the situation is very sad from the fantasy and the quality points of view (and about the "official" i forgot one or two B767-300 with winglets...); the "unofficial" is what i would like to see, but it is a dream rather than a wish!
The wishlist is a joke and i hope, one day and before my "death", to see one of the "unofficial" list airplanes produced!

Well they are obviously succesful so why should they stop? After all Herpa is a german company and so are a lot of the collectors (also keep in mind that Herpa Wings are common in near every toy/model(train) shop in germany, so its a a "must" to have a lot of german airlines), also LH was one of the first customers of Herpa so i guess they got some sort of history

But i agree that from a collectors view they are not that exciting (euro white livery) and a smaller plane like A32x/737/CRJ is usually not that thrilling for most people.

but to get back to topic:

Luftwaffe Transall in 70s colors (LTG63!), a lot of exotic charter airlines for Charter , NZ 767WL, KLM MD-11, Centurion Air Cargo MD-11F, Delta L1011-500, Contact Air Fokker 100 - well not exactly realistic but the Transall, 767WL and maybe the Fokker could be something to be released some time..

Hye Alessandro,

This is hard to do, because they're are so many airlines that we would want.

Anyway, apart from your choice, i would definitely love to see an Aer Lingus A330-200, or A320 model. If not, then maybe a real nice surprise, a B707 or BAC-1-11!

Others to consider:

Flying Tigers- Boeing 747-200F or DC-8-63
Garuda Indonesia- Airbus A330-200
CargoItalia- MD-11F
FedEx- Boeing 777-200F
Hispania Airlines- Boeing 737-200
SAS- DC-9-41( Polished experimental livery) SAS's last 4 DC-9s arrived in the polished livery, similar to Lufthansa's polished 727-200 and BA's polished 737-200!
VASP- Boeing 737-200
AVIACSA- Boeing 737-200/300
Ukraine International Airlines- Boeing 737-300/500/800
Britannia( old colours)- Boeing 767-200ER, B737-200
Air China -Airbus A330-200/300
China Xiamen Airlines- Boeing 737-700/800, B757-200
LAN Airlines- Airbus A318, Boeing 777-200F
Royal Jordanian Airlines ( new livery)- Airbus A319/A320/A321, A340-200, ERJ-190
V Australia- Boeing 777-300ER
Ukraine Air Force- Iluyshin IL-62M, Tupolev TU-134A
Jazeera Aiways- Airbus A320
flyDubai- Boeing 737-800

Just some:

I agree with you man, but Herpa is a German company , and LH was it's first clients.

Unfortunately, LH has a rather dull livery, much like Air France with boring euro-white liveries, but the same could be said for Gemini Jets and the defunct StarJets.

They make American carriers frequently, and SJ did too, but they also make and made other airlines too!

You have a point, hopefully Herpa will come up with some interesting airlines!

I agree with you there, and as you can see by my collection, I have amassed a nice Lufthansa fleet. LOL. If they were to do one more Lufthansa, though; I would like to see a 1/500 scale DC-8 passenger version. A Pan Am DC-8 would be pretty nice, too. I'd also like some more Aeromexico like say a NG 767 and 757 (that I don't have to buy the Advent set to get).

Re: 1:500 Scale Wishlist-Thread

I'm thinking about:

Current livery of all EL-AL fleets

i only found herpa, starjets, and inflight 500 who made current livery colors, but sadly starjets's B744 looks no good on the horizontal stabilizers mould
