If Lufthansa orders this model at Herpa they will produce it. Don't forget that many models are produced on behalf of an airline and a big part of the batch will be the shop on the planes.

i spoke with a retailer today, there are only a few models left to order from Herpa. This model will be soon sold out at Herpa.

I'm a Lufthansa collector but after I bought the Lufthansa Italia Airbus... I'll take my EURO's elsewhere.... I don't understand why these sell out! You can't possibly accept a deteriorating mould!!!

Ditto. Lufthansa is a five star airline, and people love memorabilia related to it, so they will buy this stuff. I have almost 60 Lufthansas in my collection; I'm not going to stop buying them now. The mould is not that terrible, by the way. There's never going to be THE perfect mould. Some Herpa's are better than other companys' moulds, and vice-versa. They all can't be Starjets, unfortunately. LOL.

And I thought germans were perfectionists....

Well, good for Herpa to read this. It means they don't have to go for quality anymore... I understand Your loyalty for LH and I dare say I have a nice LH collection myself but... I just can't accept that they traded a nearly perfect mould for this one. As a collector one might except progress, not deterioration.
