Question anyone done custom gears for OG 737s?

i know some people here have converted their OG md-80s to have the old fokker gears... but has anyone tried converting OG 737s? either with the same fokker gears from herpa or perhaps a modified version of the NG 737 gears?

What a major improvement. I'm quite handy and would like to try this on some of my planes. Are there any instructions on how to do this, or associated links to such information?

I was able to convert my American 737-800 OG to NG using my Delta 737-800 NG gear. It was a lot easier then I expected!

I am guessing that there is quite a market out there for OG - NG conversion kits. One of the manufacturers should create such a kit and promote it

yes, the manufacturer (Herpa) should think and react that theres a big market for replacement gear kit for their OG. I made custom gear for my SAS736, and the result very satisfying hehehe
