Hows Your Spending Habit

hey guys...my collection has sent me into lotsa debts...being a student...i just keep buying thinking i can pay it all...lol...not good...

so now i just limit to once a month....b4 it was like 70 in a year...

like to see u guys spending habit

Personally, I used to get one every month or every other month. But lately its been a new one every 3 months.

I try to go to one of the 2 hobbie shops here in Chicago at least 1 time a month but there are some times I just 1) don't want to spend the gas 2) I don't have time 3) I really don't see anything worth getting. But this last time I went I was lucky enought to get 1) GJ Delta 737-800 2) DW Air Canada 777-300ER and 3) (this one is my favorite) a DW Corperate model JAL 747-400!

I only get a model when I see one that I like and that would fit into my collection/airport

I dont allow myself to spend more than 40 euros a week, translates into two per week or so. Mainly since im living in germany where these things are pretty easily aquired. When I move back to the states theres alot less sellection to be had, so my habit slows down to perhaps one or two a month, depending on whats on ebay.

I think it depends on what comes out in the monthly releases and what is on ebay...If I find something I really want to get, then I'll buy it if the price is decent. So there isn't really a trend to my purchases. I may get 10 new models in a month and then not get any for the next couple months..I guess it depends on what is available.

Apart from the A380, do you only collect Boeing 747 models?

it was about bi-monthly, but now with the horrible USD: Euro exchange rate, i don't think i ordered any new planes since November!
(I have traded and won a plane on ebay since then)
I hope to place a large order soon.

, but I dont' only search for 300tons-planes; in fact the most expensive one is the 50-Years-LH-A321

same here. sometimes i go on for many months, four or more, without any orders. and i usually lump them together in one transaction to save on expenses, so i get three or four models at each delivery. sometimes i end up ordering twice in a row.

I only buy when there is a sale at airline museum

I used to buy every other week, but that got too pricey, and with me also buying plastics, one of them had to go. I chose Diecast.
