has anybody ever bought the plastruct miniature planes?
Plastruct, Inc. - Online Product Detail Plastruct, Inc. - Online Product Detail the small prop plane seems tempting for a small airport... any feedback on these products?

the small bi-plane looks nice. and it would add a nice touch to a 1:500 diorama if you put them to the side, so it looks like that there's a flight school there or something.

i'd really appreciate it if anyone here can tell something about the quality of the plastruct miniatures...
it is cheap at less than USD6 a pack, but the web site requires a minimum USD20 purchase!!!

I have bought my modelling materials from plastruct and I can say they are pretty good. It is one of my favorite suppliers in terms of my architectural model making. I am not so sure about the miniature airplanes though. I personally believe that they can be used as accent to complement your diorama but don't expect full details on them. They can be a bit toy like IMHO.
