Welcome again, and I hope that we see worldwide representation of 1/500 models, both old colors and new. There seemed to be some sentiment amongst a few members, that if it was a plane that didn't currently land in Frankfurt, it wouldn't be an economically viable plane to make in our scale. My point is, why do we see such an amazing variety of airlines and aircraft, new and old, from the entire world, in 1/400? It seems that those manufacturers are just fine with releasing smaller numbers, and are doing fine, but more and more, Herpa only wants to make a few "home runs" plus several oddballs here and there, and that's it. I really would have done the 1/400 thing when I got started a few years back if I had known how things were going to turn out; the main advantage of 1/500 is that you can make a more comprehensive diorama in a smaller amount of space
