Re: Herpa AF Concorde "Pepsi"-pics

I had the chance to buy this model for 10 bucks at the LAX collectables show. I instead picked a CityBird Cargo A300. Now, looking back, I really wish I would have bought this model.

Re: Herpa AF Concorde "Pepsi"-pics

i really think a concorde model looks very elegant and majestic when photographed alone, or with other concordes...but it seems to look a bit "funny" when it is dwarfed by the other jets, or simply because of its peculiar streamlined shape.

I'm still hoping for this one and the split BA/SQ to be re-released in new generation!

Great pics and I'd guess these were taken with the new Canon 450D?

I agree - I like to see Concorde just by themselves in a flock of their own.

Re: Herpa AF Concorde "Pepsi"-pics

Thanks furryforest and Angie! Yes, I was using my 50mm macro lens w/ the 450D.

I will be posting more photos soon of many other aircrafts. I am taking requests (I may or may not have the model).

Perhaps I should talk about this in Squawk Talk or Spotting section but I envy that new "Live View" screen on that 450D as my old 400D doesn't have it.

Re: Herpa AF Concorde "Pepsi"-pics

Thanks! It is a great camera and I would probably not have bought it if I had not had a $100 off coupon.
I still like the view port though
