If it is the same mold how can there be subtle differences in the model? Perhaps in the paintwork but surely not in the wings, engines etc??

here is my 777-200/ -200ER wish list:
Thai old colors
THAI new colors
malaysia airlines
air india old colors

do you plan on other moulds? like to -200LR and the -300 family? you could do some of the above for these moulds as well!

how about other aircraft types? i would have to say that the A300 should be top priority.
I have the same thoughts re: the A-300. I would like to see it done as a 1/500 model in Saudia old colors, Egyptair old colors, and Thai old colors. What a great offering that would be!!

I second PT-TAA's suggestion for the Royal Brunei! I do hope that there'll be an Aero500 Royal Brunei B777-200 in the near future - even this Korean B772 itself looks mighty superb! Your AC Royal Brunei B763 was a huge success in the market, Mr. Klein - I'm sure this will be too!

Agree 110%!! I Would be happy to see it in Cruzeiro, Varig, VASP and one of W900 most wanted in 1/500: LUFTHANSA!! The Herpa's A300 rear fuselage don't convince me... and between the emergency door and the rear door the window line is slight angled upwards but I haven't seen this detail reproduced in any A300 model.

I also agree! Would love to see the A300.

@ PT-TAA I really appreciate your suggestions

I would also like to see any other south american operator like LADECO, VIASA, Aerocondor, Dominicana, APA, TACA, Air Jamaica and Iran Air, Iberia, Air France, Air Inter, Alitalia, Hapag Lloyd, PanAm, Egypt Air, Saudia, UPS, FedEx (sorry could continue endless)

... and if you ever make a DC-10 mould, I would really love to have this model:
(No 1 on my wishlist): (picture linked from Welcome to the Online Home of AeroClassics! showing 1:400 scale model)

I really like your A300 wish list, along with that of Faucett Peru. And the Aero Mexico DC10--would be outstanding. pete

Re: New Release: Aero 500 Korean Air B777-200

As this all started with the B777-200 I would like to mention, that I'm game with all the mentioned liveries. Most of it was never produced in 1/500 scale. Some only in different colour schemes or in Herpa's Old Generation.
What I'd specifically like to see is British Airways Landor and World Images.
Also there's a rather strange B777-200 on my mind (actually it was a pair). They were leased by Khalifa Air for the Hajj pilgrimage and should have been operated jointly with Air Algerie. The all white planes carried Khalifa and Air Algerie titles and insignias. I have slides of both lying around somewhere... Though, it might be a nightmare to get these licenses...

On regard of an A300 - yes, yes, yes! All you need to do is scale down the 1/400 model!

Ah, how nice, finally, AC in 1:500 (ok, not really AC, but Aero 500). I hope we get the same nice models that we are used to getting in the 1:400 scale Aeroclassics.

But its old, and some people cant find it now. Plus options are always welcome in this hobby. And some people in this hobby, like me, like to keep their models all from one manufacturer when possible.

I also want to sugest:

Why not really AC?
No difference to the 1:400 big brother, except the scale!

Aero500 was chosen to show the link to AeroClassics.

I'm pleased with the initial enthusiasm, and hope this will become a success!

Lots of good suggestions so far, and happy to say, some are already in the works!

Well, AC's focus is more on retro aircraft from what I see, where Aero 500 might have more of a mixed selection, at least this is what I feel with this 777 being the first release (which is a good thing in 1:500). But either way, I hope that you will realease many nice aircraft as you do in 1:400. I managed to hunt down one of your older releases from 2001 (the Air Florida DC-9-14RC) and I'm very happy with it and I hope to pick up more of the older baby niners when I have the chance.

I think a great suggestion would be bring out a AN-24/26/30. There are many nice and interesting liveries those aircraft wore and still wear today. Ones I am particularly waiting for are LOT (post 77' colors) and especially some Aeroflot and Aeroflot arctic. A LOT Cargo AN-26 wouldn't be bad either. Just so many possibilties with those (even USAF), I'm highly suprised no one had considered trying to make some. I have a feeling they would be very well accepted in both the AC400 and Aero 500 line.
