your opinon about the 5* thai 744 nc
i already have herpa's THAI airways 747-400 HS-TGZ in new colors. it is simply magnificent!
i know that before herpa released this, FiveStars released their own version with the exact same registration: http://www.wings900.com/vb/1-500-sca...b-747-4d7.html the picture on the DB shows a somewhat misplaced cockpit windows. the one pictured on ACBerlin looks nice but i realized it is the herpa version! so i would like to ask for people's opinon about this model...is it worth getting? i'm asking someone to buy me some models from ACBerlin (my friend's luggage space, as well as my budget are both limited). how does it compare to the herpa version? is it worth the Euro20++? thanks for any input!

It depends if you are desperate to have another version of the same model?
I personally think the Herpa is so much better, but that is my view. If you need another TG 747-400 in your fleet, here is the excuse to get another one so get it! The 5 stars looks more detailed, but the herpa one to me looks more 'smooth' and 'natural'!

I was very disapointed with this model because the tail was not painted purple, Otherwise it was a great model with much more detail than Herpa ( not too difficult, Herpa = No detail ).

i actually decided against this model. i think it will only be a redundant addition. i already have the herpa version.
