I just browsed ACB's website and found Herpa's latest version of B777-300ER Air France with reg. F-GSQV as a pre-order item. From what I saw from the pic, it is still of the previous version with reg. F-GSQA.

Apart from having silver framed passenger windows, what other details will appear on this new F-GSQV? Seahorse logos are present on their latest A343 and B744 engines, is this newest version of 77W AF also going to have them?

Moreover, are we also going to see escape markings on its wings just like the exclusive one with reg. F-GSQN?

Does anybody have any further information about this new F-GSQV?

I don't think it is released yet but the actual F-GSQV was delivered to AF with the latest seahorse and 'Air France-KLM' logos so this model should have them, ( MUST have them )

F-GSQN is the best AF 77W so far, but still the bottom side of the wing should be two tone, not all gray. The second version of F-GSQA had the correct colors but no escape marking on the wing. I think these markings are a must and hope Herpa would make them standard.

Little note on Herpa's 747-400 F-GITC with latest logos, as far as I know, the actual plane still has the old 'Groupe Air France' logos, so Herpa should have done F-GISE or one of the updated 744. For now, this F-GITC is a fantasy model

Yes I wholeheartedly agree with you about wings escape markings to become Herpa's standard. From what I remember (correct me if I am wrong), they only appeared on some of those Japan Official (ANA) Models.

Later on, they were added to some exclusive 77Ws like SQ, JAL and AF F-GSQN. More recent 77Ws that come with regular Herpa box do not have these markings ie. Air Canada and Etihad. Neither do the other two exclusive Ws : CX and Eva Air (Waving Ribbon) have them.

Hope Herpa will not forget those details anymore in the future. Thanks for reminding me about F-GITC as well as F-GSQA/N wings, I really never checked the difference at the bottom side of their wings.

wasn't the EVA produced a long time ago? when we were only beginning to see the extra details like passenger window frames?

as for the CX, i really think CXcitement deliberately left out the extra details to make their sales more profitable. i mean their price has remained fixed whereas those of the regular herpas have increased. i could only assume they were able to do so by deliberately leaving out some imprints, making production cost relatively stable. otherwise, we would have seen the 77W with the added details, just like the historic models, albeit priced at around USD40 each!.

Even that W ANA in Star Alliance colors which was released before that BR "Waving Ribbon", does have those escape markings on its wings. Not to mention, the older ANA 773s that were released long before that W BR. How about that 763 "Woody Woodpecker/Universal Studios Japan?" to mention another older example. It wasn't until we saw the W SQ as non Japan official item to have these extra details printed on its wings (as far as W is concerned, at least).

As for that deleted message, basically the light gray color at the bottom side of F-GSQN's wings is the same like F-GSQA's basic color for its wings. Only the difference is, F-GSQA's wings are in two-tone colors, added with darker gray.

It's very hard to see what's the exact gray used in the real airplanes. Only F-GSQA's wings in two-tone colors are quite visible below.

Yea, I think I got the whole two tone vs. all gray stuff mixed up between QA, QN etc.
Wonder which one has the correctly positioned registration ... but enough confusion for one day.

I guess I'll keep displaying them right side up

i doubt it that the new AF 773ER has the amount of detail of the special unreleased model that herpa did for AF. that model was selling (very hard to find) for between hkd700~800. im almost sure the new regular release wont overlap the special af model

It is I who should thank you for providing that pic of F-GSQV on a-net. There aren't too many pics of F-GSQV as of today. Didn't know it was you who took that picture and uploaded it onto anet, thanks again.

I have the feeling it will have those correct seahorse logos on the engines and AirFrance-KLM titles just like F-GSQN. Only those wings escape marking won't be there, at least not now. Anyway, let's see how it looks when it becomes available.

Wow, thanks for the update! She does have those seahorse logos on the engines and I believe those are AirFrance-KLM and Boeing 777-300ER titles in the front section.

She is long.... She is elegant and she is heavy...... Thanks for all the metal stabilizers on these 77Ws Air France.

I don't want it to be light because light means plastic.

I just topped up my AF fleet with this latest F-GSQV. It does have those AirFrance-KLM titles and seahorse logos on the engines.

It also has different wings colorings from F-GSQA and N's, anyone who collects AF knows which one is F-GSQV from the group picture below . The box remains the same in light blue just like F-GSQA's. Thought it would come up with updated box just like A343's (F-GLZT).
