how come? is this a) to reassure all customers that their made-in-china products are non-toxic; or b) they are imposing stricter quality controls now that will avoid models with defects (e.g., twisted nose gears, scratches, etc).

isn't AB's plan all along is to maintain two brands? LTU for the holiday market and airberlin for the business market. i remember reading somewhere that the LTU A330s will not have their cabins refurbished while those painted in AB livery will have a lie-flat business class for TATL flights.

Btw, the Iberia looks very nice and detailed. I can't wait to get mine. Now I hope we'll soon see more of the long announced models...

i hope the two-tone exhausts become a standard feature for ALL their future releases...they occasionally forget it on some releases.

Re: Why does it take Herpa so long to release what was announced 6 months ago?

i emailed ACBerlin recently and asked them if some of these models, the OZ 333 and PG 320 for example, will be available soon and they actually replied by saying that the releases have been a "mess" and "there's no telling when they will arrive."

Thank you Carlos!
These pictures are interesting as they show new releases that aren't still available in Europe.

As far as I know HERPA asks the retailers in HKG not to publish pictures of produced new releases until they have arrived at Dietenhofen (Germany).

Maybe HERPA starts the delivering to retailers on Tuesday?

What a great shop: Beer, M&M chocolate candy, and Herpa models! Wish I had been a collector back when I visited Hong Kong a few years ago.
