Herpa Leaks New Releases
At today's X-mas Wings Boerse at DUS airport, Herpa accidentally presented these new models in 1/500:
- KLM B773 - Delta B763 n/c - Air Berlin B738 n/c - Air Ceylon DC-8 - Austrian B772 and A320 seem to be scheduled for regular releases (edit: the ones on display were Peter Vosen's) - The next set is said to be really great (no details - unless it's Frontier, it won't be great for me  )- No news re. LH A300, but wasn't ruled out either. - More to be presented at the toy fair I took some pictures and will post them shortly. Last edited by mmu69; 12-16-2007 at 04:50 AM. Reason: Update re. AUA. The first KLM 777-300, PH-BVA, is expected at AMS Feb 2008, so new release in 2Q 2008 ?

it seems herpa is releasing the 77W's with the release of the real ones. I'm not positive about this, just logic:
Cathay Pacific's special scheme (heard different answers to this: either asia's world, or spirit of hong kong, i don't know yet) B-KPF is scheduled to be delivered in mid-late January. It is line number 692. KLM's 77W, PH-BVA, is ln694. as of now, the latest jet seen in full colors is Ln688, and seeing as that the current production rate is (don't quote me on this, not positive) 7 per month, we should first see this KLM in full colors in about a month. And then testing takes, i don't know, a month? just guessing for that. and then, we should see the KLM in mid-late february, just in time for Herpa's delivery!

Id rather see the Delta 763 in thier deltaflot livery. The new one is nice, but I much prefer the last one. Best thing since Widgets.
Atleast i got a nice 764. |

i know it's been criticized many times before, but that delta 763 looks really sleek! fresh and clean!

Yeah, that Delta looks so shiny, ready to get into collectors hands. If this information is true (about it being released in Feb/March and not as Club releases) then I am very excited!
