What! Are you suggesting that Herpa may be less than truthful? Mind you I did buy the Condor 747-200 512282 from the Herpa Shop and received box numbered 275. I complained to Herpa that the box was crushed upon arrival (the Herpa package must of been on the bottom of the entire cargo hold) and they did an excellent job replacing the box with box numbered 2196. Only 3,000 of these models were produced so I am not sure what this really means?

Well there was the Omni DC-10. (see thread http://wings900.com/vb/showthread.ph...ght=DC-10+Omni ) In this case, they took some spare Orbis DC-10s and painted them over to Omni colors. People who were expecting just a Omni DC-10 wound up getting a suprise when they saw that indeed it was originally the was the Orbis DC-10. But I think when it comes to quanity of models made herpa should be truthful.

It was my understanding that when it is a limited release the box's are normally number and/or there is a certificate giving the number, but their isn't one on the occasion!

Worrying message on the "EuroShop" for this release......

Well I actually ordered the set on 13th April through the Aviation Center-Berlin as LH WorldShop (EuroShop) will not ship outside the EU.

The ACB must have received a delivery from the WorldShop (EuroShop) on or just prior to the 6th June.

ACB shipped the models on the 6th June and I received them 14th June.

Shipping via Deutsche Post Airmail has taken 8 days to arrive in Australia.

I got mine today, that leaves 493 out there.
The set is GREAT! :)
