NEW RELEASE: Airport Set 1

From now on, your historic airplane models will find a new home. Herpa starts its Yesterday diorama accessories with two sets in one go. The Nostalgic Airport Set I was modeled after airports of the 1930s and 1940s, the second set contains accessories in the style of the 1950s and 1960s. Both sets contain three and five buildings respectively, a ground foil with a ground plan, accessories as well as two models from the regular collection that are typical of the respective era. Moreover, the first set contains a Boeing B & W 1 model (510783), the first airplane ever developed by Boeing.

EI-DUB is flying under the radar
Not a fan of sets of any kind that contain previously released aircraft. People who want the sets have to buy the models again.
With regular release aircraft they are unlikely to get their money back on selling the duplicate either.

You have to admit, it's still a nice little set. You are right about the duplicate models though. I'm glad I didn't purchase the B&W1 yet...I think I'll definitely pick up this set. Makes for a nice way to display Herpas beautiful propliners!

Are you saying that having duplicate models is a BAD thing????? I can think of several reasons it would be preferred, realism being number 1...
