Re: Herpa Wings News 05-06 2017

It appears Herpa have reverted to painting bare metal finishes instead of actually polishing. Cheaper and quicker, I suppose.

The LTU MD-11 is the same.

Re: Herpa Wings News 05-06 2017

Are they going to remake the special models in NGII (I hope so) or again in OG? Is this just a photo of old models or is this what they are actually going to make?

The Lufthansa 737-100 version was already painted like that:

Re: Herpa Wings News 05-06 2017

For me only the Asiana A350 and maybe the KLM 737-700.

Pretty boring release.

So sad to see that all of the above were already released with their registartions.
I see when they do the same model when it gets a special livery but I dont understand the AZ. They could at least chose a different Registration.

I have thought the same thing, it would have been charming and realistic to have two 777 in different liveries next to each other. Exactly what I saw at Rome's airport on Sunday when I came back from London.

Oh I so agree with you. I don't get who in their right mind at Herpa thought it was okay to release the Austrian 777 for the first time in the new livery, not in the regular version.

They do this all the time, it's so annoying...

New releases have already been announced. They are talking about models they want to get, I am simply stating there is another thread for that. When I joined the forum everyone was quite obsessed with this, and I am simply pointing that out now.
