Herpa BA 747 question.

Why does Herpa not make a BA744 with normal livery and the relatively new grey coat of arms additions instead of being so much into special models (ex. gold nose) instead of not even doing the standard ones?! Any hope to see that coming? Does it exist? Can't find it on any online model store or ebay if so.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Herpa BA 747 question.

I meant this, it appears right after the BA's logo on the fuselage.

Re: Herpa BA 747 question.

Good question...though there are 2 with the coat of arms (G-BNLU and G-BYGF) in 1:500 scale, there hasn't been a BA B744 in 1:200 scale made by Herpa. Infact, the last one was G-CIVO which was I think in the late 2000s...However, G-CIVO didn't have the coat of arms which the real plane has now...Should Herpa decide to make a BA B744 with the "To Fly To Serve" crest in 1:200 scale, it will sell like hot cakes!!! However, which would be your preferred registration?

Although I think I actually sinned. I meant 1/500 not 1/200...

Re: Herpa BA 747 question.

I think Herpa will realize the British Airways B747-400 regular livery and with the BA logo very soon...

Checked my friend, and i hope you will be satisfied by a new mould of a new manufacturer (Herpa seems not to have plans to change B747 mould).

That's very good to hear! They don't seem to make many of them. They just got into 787-9 full mode now. Lol

If I could talk more I would say how Herpa believes people are actually going to get the new 140€ Schipiol gangways instead of using the normal ones (which are also better to look at). Sorry for the out of topic.
