Re: F-Toys New Releases

Thanks for the explanation man! Very nice info you got there

I don't think the A320 in 1:500 is that bad, just need better cockpit windows and longer gears.

They still need to release NCA Jumbos...

Not likely - NCA only has 2 types of planes - the 747-400Fs and the -8F, and I don't think F-Toys will create a new mold for a plane that only had a production run of 88 (747-8F). Keep in mind that F-Toys deal with trade models - variety in paint schemes and types is their primary driver for sales. If they put in an offer for a 747-8F, they'll need to put in a scheme for AtlaAir, Cargolux, NCA, CX Cargo, UPS and the smaller Russian freight haulers...undeiniably cool, but would probably turn into a licensing nightmare for them.

As for Japanese cargo haulers, there's a couple already:

JAL Wing Collection 2 from 2009 features a 400BCF and a 400F (they are no longer in service - JAL got rid of cargo operations as a result of their corporate restructuring).

ANA Wing Collection 4 from 2012 features an ANA Cargo B767-300BCF:

And if you like the Jumbos...well, they did a special release for March 2011 for the Boeing 747 retirement from Japan Air Lines. Note that JA8176 is a super-rare 100SUD model.
