Re: phil8900's Collection

The last airline I can show you right now is Etihad Regional (Darwin Airline) - I took a flight over the alps from Lugano to Sion, the views were stunning!

Saab 2000 HB-IZZ "Ceresio" was delivered to Crossair in 1997 and passed on to Swiss in 2002. Darwin aqcuired it in 2005 and repainted it in the "Etihad Regional" livery in 2013:

Re: phil8900's Collection

Today I can show you something that means a lot to me, a small plane owned by the Grenchen flight school ("Flugschule Grenchen") in Switzerland:

Robin DR400 HB-KDV was built in 1994 and has its homebase on Grenchen Airport (ICAO: LSZG). This plane is special to me because my dad learned flying with it and took me with him many times

Mumrik painted this really small plane for me and it looks great from some distance, the pictures don't quite show the full glory of this miniature in 1:500.

As there was no Robin DR400 model available on shapeways I put some effort in creating one, so if you would like to order one:

Re: phil8900's Collection

Thanks Leo

On we go with an airline which should be on every bucketlist, I'll explain that in a second: Loganair!

FlyBe DHC-6-300 Twin Otter G-BVVK (operated by Loganair) was delivered to Wideroe in 1980 and registered LN-BEZ before it joined Loganair's fleet in 1994. It was first painted in British Airways livery as it was operated for BA until 2007. In 2008 the airplane was painted in FlyBe's livery which it will carry until the 1st of September 2017 when it will probably be repainted in Loganair's own livery.

This is a Mumrik-Custom.

I promised to explain why Loganair should be on every bucketlist - simply watch this beach-landing in Barra! It is an aviators dream come true:

Re: phil8900's Collection

South African Airways will fly me to Cape Town in a couple of months, so I ordered the model already

Airbus A340-642 ZS-SNG joined SAA's fleet in 2004 and is still in active service:

This is a Sky500 model!

Re: phil8900's Collection

Thanks Charter and Leo for your continuing support I really love my customs aswell, as they give me the possibility to complete my "flown on" collection!

As Qatar Airways serves my home airport with a A350 I simply had to get this model:

Airbus Industries A350-941 F-WZNW (MSN004) had its first flight in 2014 and carries a hybrid Airbus-Qatar A350 Launch Customer color scheme. It was never intended to be delivered to Qatar Airways and stayed with Airbus for testing purposes:

That's all for now
