Re: Gemini news.

Not included in the photos there is also an Emirates 777-300ER World Cup livery and a Southwest 737-800 new livery (winglets). The Emirates, Southwest, Silver, and probably Qatar for me. I personally like this set of releases a lot (especially the Silver and Emirates World Cup Livery).

Nothing for me...I'm holding off on 737s until MAX models start being released.

The Pan AM is nice to see...

Re: Gemini news.

Silver and Southwest for me. I also saw the Silver plane land at Dulles before, so that's kinda neat.

Did any one also notice the GJ logo in the top right corner? Is that new?

Re: Gemini news.

OMG!!! This is one of the best releases I've seen in a while! Lots of variety! I'll take:
British Airways Boeing 777-200ER
Delta Airbus A320-200
Silver Airways Saab 340B
Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800 SS
I'm also considering the Lufthansa 747-8i Retro and the Qatar Airbus A350. Goodbye, wallet .

Re: Gemini news.

Well, there is only one model which will surely join the fleet...the British Airways B777-200/ER G-YMMR... perhaps the Qatar A350 too...

Homzie my friend, what is your opinion on the BA 777? Wouldn't you agree that a GE powered 777 is much more needed? Gemini said it would be a model not made yet, however I can count 4 RR 777s in Union Flag. G-YMMA Gemini, G-YMMP and G-YMMO! Then their is Phoenix G-YMML. Yet we have no GE powered 777 in union flag!

I absolutely agree with you my friend..there is NO GE powered BA B777-236/ER in Union Jack livery which is very surprising...GJ was right though, G-YMMR hasn't yet been made

The G-YMM series have RR powered ones while the G-VII series have GE powered ones...GJ did release G-VIIA (Waves of the City - U.S.A.), G-VIIJ (Benyhone Tartan - Scotland), G-VIIK (Animals and Trees - Botswana), G-VIIL (Wings - Denmark), G-VIIN (Whale Rider - Canada) and G-VIIT (Rendezvous - Hong Kong)....

Having said that, G-YMMR is a new registration (i.e. a registration which hasn't been done till now) which gives an opportunity to buy a new aircraft. However, the G-VII series B777-236/ER planes haven't been done in the Union Jack livery...It is high time that someone does...

Yes, G-YMMA, G-YMMO, G-YMMP and now G-YMMR (all done by GJ) and G-YMMH and G-YMML (both done by Phoenix) have RR Powered engines. Herpa did one in 1:500 scale (i.e. G-YMMG) years ago which also has RR powered engines...
