Great pics rex! Nice model additions too. The Air France 380 looks tempting. Might have to get it. Where did you pick yours up from? Any chance of some more pics of it?

Thanks for your comments. My photos is nothing compared to our fellow member, Agent X. You should get this AF380 revised scheme, I have also the old scheme I should've waited, but heck. I just needed that one for my AF fleet shooting. haha. Since I got the A320 special scheme, plus this A380, it almost calls for a new line up shot, but wait a minute, Does anyone know if they will release the A330-200 in the new scheme?

I picked up mine from my local CPH model store, he happened to have a last month stock, and he was getting rid of his PHX stocks, same thing with those CX. I saved a couple of dollars for shipping by picking them up locally. Phew... Anyway if you're interested to get one in UK, contact Thang aka "JetsPro" is his W900 username. Very reliable source. :-) I recommend him.

Re: REX-PHOTOS: All My Models incl. Fleet collections.

Welcome to the W900 Forums, Barolo.

I have both ECO models from JAL, the 772 and the 773. You must buy both.
You are more than welcome to share photos of your models here in the 400 scale section.
If you have a little diorama, then go ahead and throw some photos

Enjoy your stay here.

Re: REX-PHOTOS: All My Models incl. Fleet collections.

thanks for the welcome Rex.

I've only used my camera for planespotting at the airport but I'll have to experiment with what it can do close up!

I'm building a small fleet of PIA aircraft (love those exotic tails) so once it's complete it may be my first subject...

Re: REX-PHOTOS: All My Models incl. Fleet collections.

Hey guys. I am back online with new additions. It's been a while since my last purchase.

This come back starts with this one Private MD11, Some classic JALs will be posted.

My new type of posting style on this thread, will be of short remarks of the real 1:1 model accompanied with the 400 scale model if it.

Salman bin Abdul Aziz - Governor of Riyadh is a billionaire yet Forbes magazine doesn't acknowledge that.
That could be due to his corrupt and Hippocratic character. His practice involves executing those trying to picture inside his private plane, yacht, farm or palace. I guess nothing can happen, having a model of his private plane.

Here it is, HZ-AFAS, It underwent 17 months of maintenance in Munich by Lufthansa Technic between 2006 and 2007, this is ex HZ-AFA1 and HZ-HM8 of Saudi Arabian Royal Flight.

Re: REX-PHOTOS: All My Models incl. Fleet collections.

Japan Asia Airways with registration "JA8128" with 'NARUWAN' Taiwanese aboriginal children painting on fuselage. With the transition to the JAL, parent company, in early 2000s, this was painted in Reso'cha's Purple scheme. JA8128 was in service with the JAA and JAL from 75 til 98. Also worth noticing, it was in service with Orient Thai as HS-UTD from 03 and One Two Go in 2005. It was then stored without engines in 2008 at Phitsanulok.

This Aircraft JAL Cargo JA8180 was in service with JAL Cargo from November 87 up till March 08, 2 months later, it was acquired by Southern Air Transport only to store it 3 months later at Mojave in August 08.

Seen here in Reso'cha scheme, I spotted this aircraft in HKG back in 2007 during my transit. She is a real beauty in real life.
JA8186 was in service with Japan Airlines and JAL Ways since Sept. 88 till November 08. It was then acquired by Orient Thai a month later as "HS-UTS" and Max Air of Nigeria operating this aircraft from April 09 as 5N-MBB to this day.

Well What can I tell about this model, this aircraft was delivered directly from Boeing back in February 92 and had been with JAL since. According to airfleets, it is still active, but not for long as these -400s are also on their way out. Which is a shame, as I am so used to see JAL in the 744 variant. They will be missed.

Thank you for viewing.

Deltaconnection96 needs to improve
Re: REX-PHOTOS: All My Models incl. Fleet collections.

dont buy the Phoenix All Nippon Airways B777-300 Wave Scheme "JA752A”. It is a terrible disapointing plane! wings wobble and 82.4% have crooked nosegear. Don't ask me how I know this i read it somewhere

Thanks for the warning, but I already have the model and I'm totally in love with it.
Phoenix Models have good batches, If there's anything I fear from the 777 line, that's the GJ 777 line. GJ777 are the last resource I purchase. With PHOENIX The only time they failed, was WHEN they released the China Southern Cargo 777s with the wrong positioned SCD's.
Anyhow the ANA Wave looks good together with Eva's 777 Wave model. Thanks.

I also tend to avoid more recent GJ models that were assembled in the Phoenix factory, at I would avoid them until I have a good look at the model myself (and that is based one a few horror stories here, and one I have experienced myself).

Phoenix, when on their own brand have a tendency to make better models (doesn't mean they have churned out a few turds in the post, but all manufactures tend to do so in one way or another). Having a good look at a V Australia 777-300 on that mould that a friend of mine bought himself at AI2009, I can assure you, Phoenix has a winner on their hands when it comes to this mould. I do know that the nose gear can be troublesome sometimes on PHX models. At least if what was said as well as my experience with their 767-300W mould says anything.

Close inspection before purchase is recommended yes, But it's troublesome for me as a local here in DK. 99,9% of my models are bought online, so I have to rely on my sources, which is normally European retailers, to avoid custom fees from US or Asia. which offers me refunds or replacement of the erroneous model. The VOZ 77W was a win win model by Phoenix.
