This Release Marked The End Of Collecting For Me. It Sure Is A Beauty,(I seen Pics Elsewhere) But Sadly I Don't Have One.
I Asked My Retailer To Reserve One For Me, But He Got So Few They Were Already Sold Out.
I Never Made An Effort To Try Another Retailer Seeing I Stopped Collectiing Anyway.
Oh Well.

Hey Rick, nice to see you posting again.

There's been a lot of discussion about this model on the 400SH. Those apparent inaccuracies aside, I was glad this model was made. Now, if only AC would produce a Canadian Pacific DC-8 in the pre-CP Air scheme...

I'm Sure Klink Has EVERYTHING In Mind Regarding Canadian Subjects.
I Was Talking To Klink Some Time Ago. The Idea Of "Entire Fleets" Somehow Does Not Disturb Him.

Rick's right about that!!
By the time I'm done with Canadian releases, you could easily fill up every gate at a Toronto or Montreal Airport diorama!!

And how about a Vancouver diorama!?

On another note . . .

Nice to see the Canadian Pacific DC-8 I alluded to above done with the October releases! Snapped this one up quickly!

Re: NEW RELEASE: 1:400 Aeroclassics Trans Canada Airlines DC-8F-54

Has anyone else experienced damaged nose wheels on their Aeroclassic DC-8s recently. I just received TCA DC-8-54F CF-TJL with a nose wheel bent to one side and one of the tires knocked off. My CPA DC-8-54 CF-CPN was in even worse shape. The nose wheel was completely broken off. Previously, I received Aeroclassic's TCA DC-8 TCA CF-TJO with a nose tire broken off. I was able to repair that one, but I am not sure I have the skill to repair the CPA model. I love my Aeroclassics, but quality control seems to slipping.
