I have to say for model airport shopping has been quit good in manchester mainly snap-fit models and few different BA and VAA die-cast items.
Coming home from spain in gerona airport they had a wide range of the new schabak 1:600 scale models (Sadly no A380) and snap-fit again.
And when my mum and dad came home from dublin in dublin airport they siad there was lots of Aer lingus diecast models (not gemini jets or scale models like the welly range, but i never went my self so i can't be sure)
Also well am on the matter does any one know of any model shop in dublin? (Main town centre area/around conell st ?, Thnak-you

So airport shopping its ok at the mo, but you never know untill you get there !
