As far as value is concernced - for me it's priceless!!!!!
First off all i would like to say sorry. I am very sorry if i have annoyed you over the past few days!
I would like to say how well your dedicated to collecting british airways models, looking though some of the posts i see you like the landour livery, In my opintion i think that is one of british airways best livery how ever the union jack livery is quiet eye catching with the british colours.
All the best, and good luck with collecting the rest of the british airways model

Thumbs up A380 Fleet Growing!!!

As well as the dedicated thread in the customs section i thought i would post the next four fantastic "World Tails" produced by Hugo here; making a total of nine Utopia A380's now.
It has to be said that these are in my opinion the best batch so far (still got over 20 to go though!!)
Enjoy Hugo's fantastic work!! (And now you can all compare the Olympic tail with Mastercustoms)......

G-ARYO British Olympic Association - City Of Chichester

G-ARYT British Blend - City Of Canterbury

G-ARYF Crossing Borders (Alternate Version as per A320) - City Of Alexandria

G-ARZE Paithani - City Of New Delhi

Watch this space as the fleet grows...
Thanks for looking!!!

I wouldn't recommend you get G-CIVV because it has a bent engine but if you find G-CIVX, then I recomend you buy that.

I recommend ALL BA !!!
Depends if you only want a UJ example of BA or if you are looking to collect some Utopia tails as well. The Colum Ireland 747 is a good place to start as you can pick this up relatively cheap at the moment.
You will love the Utopias when you have them all lined up!!
Go on, spoil yourself, get them both!!
Then you will be another hooked BA collector!!

Thanks Colin, comments always appreciated.
I am back working away in Moscow again now so won't see my collection in the flesh for another three months
When i am back i should be about 75% through the A380 Utopias so i will definitely get a line up shot for you all to see
To be honest I am looking forward to the line up as much as everyone else!!

Hey Gary,
hope your special 'girls' don't get to lonely while your away and start looking for another collector who might wish to spend more time with them.
I've heard A380's seek a lot of attention....

Thumbs up Latest Additions

As well as the Utopia A380 fleet regularly expanding, i am still catching up on some of the older releases needed to fill the gaps in my fleet.
Here's my latest additions : -
The elusive Big Bird 747 G-AWNK BOAC/BA Hybrid "William Shakespeare" which i have eventually bagged!! - Thats the Big Bird releases complete now!!
Also the great BEA Aeroclassic releases of the DH-106 Comet 3 - G-ANLO, and the BEA set of the Viscount 802 G-AOHH and DH-106 Comet 4B G-APME.
Was especially pleased to get the set as i never thought one would "pop" up!!
Here they are....

Re: My BA Collection

Astounding collection!! One question, how do you keep the dust off? Is there a removable door that you took off for the photos? Or are they really always "out in the open"?

I took the front off for photos. It is a one piece glass front that slides over and clamps down making the cabinet dust free.

Re: My BA Collection

Now for something completely different!!
I know that this doen't fit into the 400 forum but it definitely fits into my BA collection and is a fantastic addition to the fleet!!!
I am now adding the BA Boeing-Vertol BV-234L Chinooks to my fleet!!!
These are the 1/72 Corgi releases of these beasts. They released two reg numbers G-BISP and G-BJAC from the fleet of 6 that BA had.
Of course - carrying on the fleet building i just had to buy another four and have Hugo and Charlie do their stuff on them. This will complete the 6 strong fleet comprising of the additional G-BWFC, G-BISO, G-BISN, and G-BISR registrations!!
I realise these are not really of interest to you 1/400 fans but i made an exception here to complete what i think is an important part of the BA fleet with an exceptional model from Corgi!!
Enjoy the pics.....will soon be back with the next batch of 1/400 BA A380 customs added to the growing fleet!!
