The thought just struck me as I was looking at the new GJ BA Landor BAC 111...
A Trident would look dead sexy in BA Landor colours...
I expect it's unlikely though.
Two Trident's were painted in Landor livery as a training exercise for the paint shop boys at LHR and used as ground trainers, G-AWZK (3B) was painted in 1986 along with G-AVFG (2E).
G-AWZK at some stage also had "The Spirit Of BA Maintenance" name put on the side as well, this can been seen a little bit in the second photo.

G-AWZK (3B) - Looks a treat!!

G-AWZK (3B) (With Lettering) and G-AVFG (2E)

They were never in service in this scheme, but i wouldnt say no to seeing one produced in 400!!

Re: My BA Collection

G-AWZK...
zOMG!

I absolutely must have this in 1:400...
Hmmm... GJ just did a CAAC 3B... (IIRC this would be one of two Super 3Bs produced?)
So I guess they don't mind one offs or small numbers.

Time to start praying. Or something.

Thanks Gary & Chard!

Paid way to much , but what the heck. Should be here in a week or so and just can't wait. Now only need 747-400 'City of Cardiff'.....
Both 'Landors' just landed this morning ( same day arrivals ). They really look a treat. Worthwhile going back to the poverty line for these babies.......
