I just got mine, too. Now I just have to figure out where to put a control tower. This thing really looks cool with the lights on in the dark.

I think the only reason I'd ever get this is for the stickers and jetways; after all, the jetways and planes will be the only non-custom objects on my airport. Luckily, by the hand of an angel, I was blessed with a little hobby shop called Colpar Hobbies which is unique from every other Colpar store out there. They carry thousands of GJ, DW, and few Herpa and Phoenix models.
They carry Herpa's sky train accessories, I've seen some Herpa GSE before and they carry what I need: The seperate packages of GJ jetways (six narrow body to a pack and sometimes they carry the three double wide body). They also stock one GJ terminal set at a time. The box is much bigger in person. They also carry these weird plastic 1:250 scale airplanes the come in six parts: fuselage, left wing, right wing, vertical stabilizer, left horizontal stabilizer, right horizontal stabilizer in a multitude of airlines. I also get all my turf and Evergreen plastic from there.

Back on topic: I've heard some bad things about this terminal set: Mainly the terminal its self. From what I heard it is huge and the pieces don't always fit together seamlessely. And that's $250 too.

I just ordered this terminal. It should be coming in the mail anytime soon! That terminal is going to be big. Good thing I have a table the size of it! Hopefully there is enough stickers for all the airlines I have! I dont have the mat. Its too big. So sooner or later I will make my own custom mat.

You could always modify the mat to suit your size as well. If you have the creative bug/spark whatever then you probably can do your own. I've seen some nice custom ones around here. Post pictures when you get it up.

It'll probably just not have a mat and to just sit on my desk with all the planes. I'll try my best to make a mat. I was thinking where I get grey paper the size of my desk, and then get some yellow tape. Or get the mat and cut out the parts to fit it on my desk.

I got mine for xmas last year and it's still sitting in it's tube after I constructed it once and then put it away for carpet cleaning.

I'm moving into a new house in September though, hopefully I can find somewhere to set it up!

I cant believe how expensive they have gone. I got mine when they first came out at Aud$240 at Triking Models in Perth. Just had to buy a second and since I can make decals all the Australian airlines will fill her up when there is room to put it. The aerobridges are excellent, really happy with it.
