you can try to get some nice & cheaper diecast models at Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya Malaysia, is near by Kuala Lumpur. Last time i has go before, is in very good price & you can find some old models at there. But it only open on every Sunday only. So if have changes just try yr luck..

Prices in Singapore or Malaysia is ex, ex.
There are many stores in Singapore but you get better deal on ebay even with shipping added.

Is true at Malaysia, not Singapore. I know that Singapore the price is some expensive, but realy i have get before at Malaysia at that Amcorp Mall, the price is good, i has purchase Dragon Wings Swiss Air MD-11, A330, Emirates A330, B773, Singapore Airlines A340,B742... Each around RM70 to RM80 only.. Is cheaper than me get from Ebay.

I ever bought some models Gemini, DW from Nikko in KLCC (now gone).
The retailers in Malaysia there just didn't care too much about the models.
They use sticker price tag that leave behind a ton of glue on the model.
So I have a bunch of DW, Gemini with glue that I cannot remove without scratching the paint.

Can be expensive in Singapore but this don't happen and anyway I have a regular supplier in HK who will notify me Phoenix, DW way before you see them in this forum.

For Gemini, Herpa and some Aeroclassic my favourite store is www.Jetwaysmodels.com. My last shipping cost per item from them is approx US$4.00 if you buy in lots of 4 or 5 by air parcel. Always arrive in good condition. Never fail me.

Ya, i know that the Nikko shop is selling some expensive for the models & the stocks is not many, some models can't get. On a trip i go Malaysia, my friends just bring me to one shopping centre (Amcorp Mall) it not is Nikko Shop, at that i found 1 store is selling a lot of airplane models, it selling some Dragon, Phoniex, Gemini Jets & Netmodels. I has brought some Dragon Models, it realy get me good price. Than some old models i oso can get there.. But it only open on every Sunday.. If have time u can jz trop by & have a visit...

That will be hard, and even if you do find it then it will be very expensive

The SQ models are exclusive to inflight sales in SQ, so the people who have them will have bought it themselves and selling it for a big profit

It is best if you can fly SQ then you can buy the models you want

The A380 in 1:500 from Herpa is not in stock till it is flying for SQ

I know Wilson actually flies on SQ plane when he go holiday to buy B777-300ER in-flight models. He is avid model plane lover that is second to none.

I bought mine on a flight SQ325 Frankfurt to Singapore on B777-300ER reg: 9V-SWA real plane that brings me home and exact in-flight sale model just last week.

Even you are on a SQ flight, they keep only one on B777 plane and two on B747-400 of this model on-board. So you try your luck on the plane or mail order but depending where you are, postage from Singapore will bleed you.

Yes,inflight item for SQ is definetly the most wise way.thats why i secure a handful of B773 ER,and i'm not thinking to sell them for the long-term,they are just great to be looked at.
