This livery is very interesting. Though I would've preferred the new GJ 735 mould...

The Gemini (cough ex Tucano) 737 moulds are subpar at best. The new line up of Herpa old generaiton 737s are fully metal, no seams, and don't have a pointy nose and have as much or more detail.

Thanks, Waffle, I am looking forward to having my first 1:400 Herpa models in collection. The recent Aeroflot 777 and the Czech 737 have made me take notice. I do have several Aeroflot 1:500 and a sweet little Danzas Airbus, yellow fuselage with blue tail, now in my collection. While I will not go 1:500 in my collecting habits I have not complaints about the Herpa models.

I didn't know that Herpa's new 737s are all metal. I've got the Western Pacific 733 'Simpsons' and this one has plastic wings and isn't that much detailed. But if Herpa reworked their 737s, then I'll give it a try. Thanks for the information, waffle.

Don't know about the 733 but Herpa improved many of their moulds and my Air Berlin 738 is also all metal.
The livery is nice but but it seems that the manufactueres only pay attention to smaller eurpean airlines - and narrowbodie a/c - if they put a colorful livery on their planes (see also recent Olympic, Sky Europe, TAP, Ryanair releases).
Hope to see some nice european-narrowbody-standard c/s releases in future.

Ever since the Easyjet 733, I believe the rest of the releases are fully metal. They are really quite nice, and minus the engines pylons being a bit thick I think overall they are better then the Gemini mould.
