My apologies

I apologize to those collectors who felt insulted by my posting about scaling and quality. My statement was too much influenced by my personal involvement in model production and could have been misunderstood. I have deleted the thread because it became very negative and does not help us in getting good models from TucanoLine.

Very smart move by SwissModels...perhaps the best move in 1:400 yet! Imagine if the if diecast model market were that simple?

I'm with Tobi on this one... Give the guy a break. If your company or a company you supported had been getting that much crap from us well then I would have been quite pissed too. I never had anything against his first poast and while I find this post not neccesary I think its a move that may get some of you to realize these people in the biz. are just that, they are people. They make mistakes.

Well me unlike you weren't personally attacked with names mentioned not just on here but on DAC as well and saying he's sorry for his stupid F*ck up ain't going to do justice quite yet. Oh BTW you know that Malaysia 744...It'll be 39.99 at your local store. Tucano get realistic 40 dollars for an everyday livery aint happening especially when you can't even get the cheatline right.

easy waffle... even tucano said the photo of the malaysia was a sample! its just that, wait until a final is made.. until then give Tucano good feedback regarding the model so when it comes out no one is dissapointed!

I Pre-Ordered mine at the 29.99 at least that is a price I can live with for any model but now the retalier has changed the pre-order price to 39.99 after the fact... I really can not afford anymore of these 30-40-50$ planes...I am not a stickler for detail unless it is just very obvious to my layman eyes but the cost must justify the means...Thanks Beau

Is it really hard to impress collectors with new company releasing models ?? we know its over priced because they just want to earn profit that hasn't meet the point that which they had spent too in making the model, well he just did what is right protecting Tucano from insults.. and yet he already apologise& I think collectors owe tucano an apology ...

some are really hard headed

some are really hard headed
1. You have not been personally attacked by both Mr.Suter and the owner of Tucano.
2. The models are overpriced. Retailers are blaming Tucano, TUcano is saying retailers are jacking up the prices (Who's right?)
3. His models are of SUB-PAR quality with numerous flaws but are almost twice the price of a similar plane made by Gemini or DW
4. He goes on here saying his models are the best models out there

Why should we owe him an apology? For charging high prices for unlicensced models? For attacking us collectors? For not bowing down and worshiping Tucano products? For not stopping by our regular Gemini and DW models?

Hey guys! He applogized! Very smart move Pete! As far as i'm concerned, all is forgiven buddie:p!
waffle, I know how you must feel about being under the spotlite like that, and maybee a more direct personal applogie is in order for you. However he said he was sorry so now we all should move on! It's been pretty dark in the fourm lately! Besides now that Gemini is under this lawsuit maybee Swiss+Models can come to our rescue! I'm really looking foward to see what Swiss+Models has to offer! Thanx Peter! No hard feelings.

Now for the sake of OUR hobbie.......Let's just collect!
