Hobby Master 1/200 wishlist

Instead of suggestions being submitted all over the forum I want to compile a list of your wishes for new paint schemes for the three 1/200 types of aircraft Hobby Master presently makes. L-188 Electra, DC-4 and Viscount these are the 3 types I would like your top 5 paint schemes for.

Example:
L-188
(1) Eastern Golden Falcon, Hockey Sticks
(2) QANTAS
(3) Atlantic
(4) Varig
(5) American

DC-4
(1) Pan Am with blue ball
(1) British Eagle
(3) Swissair
(4) QANTAS
(5) VC-54C Sacred Cow

Viscount
(1) ????

Secondly, what do you think are the next couple of 1/200 PROP aircraft Hobby Master should produce? Please remember, stick to Hobby Master I’m not interested in other manufacturers or jets. I'm sure you get the idea. Who knows it just might get made.
Thanks.

Re: Hobby Master Collector site update

I'll bite. Let's see..... KLM? Every KLM scheme! Horizontal (where the heck is HL1002?), Diagonal, Dutchman-flag-tail! We should definitely see PH-TAR 'Rotterdam' (KLM's inaugural DC-4 flight to New York, May 31st, 1946).

I'm a glutton for the Connie, so I'll just say (notwithstanding the Western Models example) HM has to make the L-049/749 Constellation! PLEASE!

Absolutely brilliant!!!

What a great new line-up!

I was delighted to see another RAN Skyhawk due for release in December, but even better news was to see the new DC-2 mould introduced. That is absolutely great news for collectors of historically important aircraft. A red-letter day!

It was even better to see the DC-2 being release in Holymans livery - this was a very important airline in the development of Australian aviation and nobody has paid any tribute to it before in the diecast world.

So you have made my Christmas...

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!!

The DC-2 will, of course, eventually have to be produced in Eastern Airlines and KLM liveries, but I wonder if there might also be a RAAF version one day?? If I can help with photographs, let me know...

I'm certain Hobby Master is pleased that they made your day with the Holymans DC-2. If you have photos of other paint schemes that you would like made I suggest you send them to info@hobbymaster.com.hk I'm sure they will be releasing several schemes and if they see your photos it may just be enough to get them to consider one or two of them. Also include any other suggestions for schemes and types of aircraft.

December 12, 2010
I added the list of new Hobby Master and SkyMax models to be released in February 2011. Click on December 11, 2010 at the top of the home page http://hobbymastercollector.com and it will open the News page. Click on the model number to see drawings and/or photos of that model. If you have comments or suggestions please take a few minutes to send them to Hobby Master in Hong Kong info@hobbymaster.com.hk Now is the time to do this so any changes or alterations can be carried out in the early stages of the model development.
